Founded in 2009, HHH began as one woman’s healing experience with a horse, and flourished into a community-recognized non-profit with a committed board of directors and specially-trained staff including peer support counselors, licensed mental health professionals, recovery coaches, mentors and certified equine specialists. In response to the needs of our community, we offer programs and clinics for people of all walks of life: at-risk youth, trauma-affected individuals, children of parental alcoholism and addiction, people in recovery and more.

HHH’s vision is that all people who struggle with the adverse effects of trauma and substance use challenges have the opportunity to work with horses through a transformative therapeutic experience.
